BTS Operational Sales Management (ex MUC)

Presentation

Students on the BTS MCO work-study program are trained to take charge of a small commercial unit or part of a larger structure (boutique, supermarket, sales agency, e-commerce site, etc.). Their responsibilities include team management, forecasting and performance evaluation, customer relations management, and product and service offering management.

Depending on the size of the company and seniority, they can be department managers, deputy store managers, sales animators, account managers, sales advisors, sales consultants, branch teleconsultants, cashier managers, group managers, etc. Self-confidence is another quality that candidates for the BTS MCO en alternance must possess.

Company search

Right from the pre-admission interview and throughout your training, our Corporate Relations Managers actively and individually support our candidates in developing and consolidating their career plans. Our aim is to help them find the career path, the industry, the company and the mission that will enable them to develop professionally and realize their ambitions.

Individual or group sessions to discover and deepen their knowledge of Company Search Techniques are offered to all candidates who so wish, right up to the signing of their apprenticeship contract. ISMAC’s secretariat will take care of all administrative formalities if the company so wishes.

ISMAC has set out to offer this BTS MCO diploma on a sandwich course basis in the best possible conditions, positioning itself at the forefront of innovation and eager to meet the expectations of its professional partners and students alike. All BTS MCO courses are taught in small groups of 18 students. This ensures that students’ work is closely monitored, and encourages teamwork just like in a company. For this BTS MCO, we only take motivated students.

Methods used
ISMAC, since 2014 in the heart of Paris, offers higher education that aims to train, within a rigorous framework, autonomous students who are masters of their learning. Thanks to small class sizes (18 students per class), we differentiate our pedagogy so that it matches each student’s needs. We monitor each student’s progress on an individual basis, encouraging them to keep up their efforts and avoiding the laxity that sometimes follows good intentions.

Follow-up procedures

Assessment of skills acquired takes place during two annual mock exams, graded by the instructors. Grades are given to students and entered on the ISMAC platform. The second year’s mock BTS covers the entire program. Intermediate grades for assignments and oral presentations enable each apprentice to be monitored on an individual basis. Candidates who fail their exams may retain the benefit of exams with marks equal to or higher than 10/20 for the following 5 sessions.
Accessibility for people with disabilities
Our premises are adapted to accommodate people with disabilities. On first contact, candidates are put in touch with ISMAC’s Handicap referent, who is responsible for welcoming them to the establishment. Accessibility registerYou can contact our disability advisor on: 01 45 22 45 00.
